Cole Laudenslager

Cole is a sophomore in the Brooks School of Public Policy hailing from Sarasota, FL. He is majoring in Public Policy with a planned minor in Law & Society. Cole has been a member of the Union since Fall 2023 and was previously the Vice President of Recruitment. Outside of the Union, Cole serves as Social Chair of the Cornell Orchestras and as a domestic policy analyst for the Cornell Policy Group. In his free time, you can find Cole practicing the flute, reading the news, or hanging out with friends.

David Diao

Vice President of Finance

David Diao is a sophomore in the Brooks School studying Public Policy. He is interested in foreign affairs, economic policy, and philosophy. In his free time, he enjoys reading and playing tabletop strategy games.

Max Troiano

Max is a sophomore from Sudbury, Massachusetts in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is majoring in history, and a staunch supporter and passionate defender of the liberal arts. Max joined the Union his freshman fall and this is his first elected position. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, going to the movies, and lounging in Goldwin Smith Hall. Max is also a senior writer for the Cornell Daily Sun, an alto saxophonist in the Big Red Marching Band and Big Red Pep Band, and a founding contributor to Collegetown Magazine.

Sofia Etlin

Sofia Etlin is a Brazilian Senior in CALS with a Biology and Society major focused on Space Medicine. An aspiring pilot and whose sold her soul to finance, she's on a mission to become a bleeding-heart Randian hero, sans cape.

Vice President of Membership

Zain is a senior from Houston, TX studying Public Policy in the Brooks School where his primary policy interests are in Foreign and Education Policy. He is also active in the Cornell Policy Group as a foreign policy analyst, the Cornell Veterans Association, and with the Ithaca Big Brothers Big Sisters as a mentor. In his free time, Zain loves to read, play video games, and watch sunsets.

Zain Ali

Events Director

Ailin Chen is a sophomore from the Bay Area majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations with a planned minor in Business. Her experience includes internships with the Asian Business Association, Jack Cognetta Productions, Assemblyman Alex Bores, and still serving as an event manager for California DECA. In her free time, Ailin manages 23 social media platforms, and enjoys reading, gaming, skateboarding, and baking. An avid photographer and video editor, she continues her hobby of marketing alongside her passion in law.
