Executive Board

The eboard is dedicated to listening to the desires of CPU's membership and making the best decisions for the organization. The eboard is comprised of a diverse group of thinkers who try to make themselves as accessible as possible to both members and interested students.




John is a junior from Toledo, Ohio, studying Industrial and Labor Relations. He has interned with United Way of Greater Toledo, the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Ohio, and Lucas County Probate Court. Last summer, he conducted labor research for Partnership for the Public Good. He also serves as co-president of the Cornell Historical Society and is an active member of the Cornell International Affairs Society and Alpha Eta Rho, Cornell's professional aviation fraternity. 


Katerina Zhuravel

Events Director

Katerina is a sophomore from Seattle double majoring in Government and Philosophy and minoring in Russian. In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good C. S. Lewis book (in other words, any C.S. Lewis book). She is also the Vice President of Public Relations for the Russian Language Club and a debater on the Cornell Speech and Debate Society Worlds Team.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Mason is double majoring in Government and Philosophy and double minoring in Business and European Studies. Mason interned for Battleground Texas in 2016, conducted research for a Venture Capital firm in 2017, and was an investment banking summer analyst in 2018 in New York City. He has been involved with the Beto campaign and is also a project manager in the Cornell Venture Capital Club.


Victoria casarrubias

Vice President of Recruitment

Victoria is a junior from Boulder, Colorado who transferred from Macalester College the spring of 2017. She is pursuing a major in Government and minors in Psychology and Law and Society. Victoria spent the past summer in Querétaro, Mexico studying Spanish and Latin dance. On campus, she is a middle distance runner for the Varsity Women’s Track and Field Team, is undergoing EARS training, and is a choreographer for Sabor Latino Dance Ensemble.

Originally from Florida, Naiara is a sophomore double majoring in History and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
